sometimes you have to move first

Peearing around limbs
the sunlight just chasing your face
you squint in the sunbeams
laughter is illusive
emenating from your mouth
but lost in the rush of wind
tumbling the leaves about
this game of hide and seek
never seems to end
as i’m just about to reach out
and touch you
and in an instant
just a whisp of you remains
I need your wisdom
dripping from lips of insight
i need your listening
your eyes bright with understanding
come out, comeout
where ever you are…
the game is growing old
i’m tired of searching
start counting
and come find me
i’m longing
open your eyes and your mouth
and share the forest secrets
before your time is up
and your just a phantom
that once filled my senses
in flesh and bone reality.

inspired by “You can’t stay in your corner of the Forest waiting for others to come to you. You have to go to them sometimes.” – A.A. Milne
